2004 Pacific Skyline Council
Bridge of Honor

The Pacific Skyline Council Bridge of Honor was held on March 27, 2004 at the Palo Alto Elks Lodge.

The Bridge was attended by over 50 Sea Scouts and over 100 family, friends, and Sea Scout alumni now in college and even one in the Navy.

The Pacific Skyline Squadron was honored that the Sea Scout Ship Compass Rose also made the long voyage down from Petaluma for the ceremony.

Sea Scout rank advancement was presented for Apprentice through Able, in addition to Long Cruise Awards.

The Mariner Scout Ship Tradewind had the high honor of presenting a Girl Scout Gold Award to one of their Mariners.  The Gold Award is earned by approximately 3% of Girl Scouts.  Congratulations on years of hard work and a job well done.

Skipper Theresa Herman of the S.S.S. Morning Star was presented the Venturing Leadership Award for her dedicated leadership and countless hours in service to Sea Scouting.
The Pacific Skyline Squadron was also privileged to have onboard the Landship both the Council Executive and Council President, each who spoke in support of Sea Scouting, highlighting Sea Scouting's timeless values and service to youth.

Congratulations to all and smooth sailing for the advancement, cruising, and regattas to come.
